Rising from a hillside lot lost to the Eaton Fire, this two-story residence rebuilds with intention — 3,400 square feet, four bedrooms, and four baths, plus an 800-square-foot attached ADU tucked into the lower level.
Rather than treating the sloping site as a constraint, the design embraces it. A full lower level steps down with the natural grade, capturing space the hillside offers for free: a two-bedroom ADU with its own patio and entry, a wine cellar, a bar, and a play lounge — all without adding visible bulk from the street. Above, the main level opens to daylight on all sides, with living spaces flowing to a covered terrace that takes in the canyon views.
The architectural language is warm Mediterranean revival — stone, stucco, arched openings, and exposed timber beams — reinterpreted with clean lines and a light, contemporary interior palette. Built to today's fire-resilient standards, the home returns to the neighborhood stronger than what stood before.
